The known history of this estate begins in 1745 with Abbot Jean de Sèze, prebendary of Saint-Émilion in 1697, owner of an estate on the hill of Mondot where he built a castle, this area then extended as far as the Dordogne if not the whole of the Pavia coast.

Troplong Mondot to one of the greatest terroirs of Saint-Emilion, this wine has a very pure expression of where it comes from.
