The estate takes its name from a small tower attached to the castle, dating back in part to the estate of the Chambaud family in the eighteenth century, the vines that will form the base of Latour in Pomerol are the property of the Garitey family allied to the Chambauds by marriage in 1875.

This cru, farmed by the Moueix establishments since 1962, connoisseurs, who have had the chance to taste the legendary vintages of the cru know to what extent this château is capable of producing extraordinary wines, equalling the best classified growths of Bordeaux.
