This grand cru was called Chapelle du Clos de Beze because it faced it and was therefore located on the east side of the road that goes from Gevrey to Morey, it was built in 1155 and razed to the ground during the revolution of 1789.

La Chapelle is all about finesse, all the vintages have an incomparable refinement and texture.
