Highland Park is a whisky distillery founded in 1798 and located in Kirkwall in the Orkney Islands of Scotland, Highland Park is one of the last distilleries that maltes some of its own barley and uses its own peat from Hobbister Moor for drying.

The water is very hard and rises from a spring on a hill-a-mile away from the distillery, it is heldd in a reservoir at a dissued Walliwall
quarry bedore being piped ti the distillery, Michael Jackson, one of the best specialists, author of various books on Belgian whiskies and beers, reports that Higland Park is the only whisky that has ever been rated 10 out of 10 by Scotsman tasters.
