Hibiki meaning "resonance" or "echo" in Japanese, for producing the blends, more than 30 whiskies were used from Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita distilleries including some that were aged more than 30 years, and some that were aged in old umeshu casks, the process "Gives it a very sweet and gentle flavor".

This is a very rare older release, non-chillfiltered and bottled at a higher strength of 50.5%.
