Isojiman Sake Brewery was founded in 1830, it is a long-established brewery with a history of 190 years that is located in Yaizu city,one of the largest fishing ports in Japan.

Like many sake breweries established in Edo Period, Isojiman Shuzo was a major landowner in Yaizu, they were one of the first breweries to directly source the highest quality sake rice, They even take significantly more time growing all of their koji infused rice, taking up to 70 hours for their Junmai Daiginjo, while many brewery spend 48 hours on their most premium Daiginjo.
